Matt Sandler is a media entrepreneur and saxophonist.

Seeing how technology could impact musicians, Matt founded Chromatik to connect the world’s music-makers as the “Spotify for musicians.” Chromatik now powers over three million musicians playing, learning, and sharing their favorite music in over 150 countries.

Alongside Chromatik, Matt is an advisor to Superpowered, the fastest mobile audio engine for games, VR, music, and interactive audio apps. Superpowered helps make amazing app experiences for hundreds of millions of users with Samsung, Tencent, Alcatel, Hoopla, DJZ, and more.

Matt is a frequent speaker at conferences and universities, on topics such as music technology and entrepreneurship. Notable talks include Stanford University, SXSW, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, NAMM, UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, Digital Entertainment World, and SF Music Tech.

Prior to Chromatik, Matt was a professional saxophonist and held A&R roles at KROQ 106.7FM and Capitol Records. Matt received his BA in Music Performance from UCLA.
